Openers we install

There are several types of openers. We help you choose the one that fits your door, your garage and your budget.

Belt drive

A rubber belt moves the door with little vibration. The quietest choice for a garage under a bedroom.

Chain drive

A metal chain moves the door along a rail. Strong and widely available, but louder.

Wall-mount

Mounts beside the door and turns the spring tube. It frees your ceiling and works well for heavy doors.

Screw drive

A threaded steel rod moves the door. Few moving parts.

Smart openers

Open, close and check your door from your phone with the myQ app.

Accessories

Remotes, keypads, wall controls and battery backup for the opener.

What a new opener can do for you

A quieter door

A belt drive opener replaces grinding chains and sprockets with a smooth rubber belt.

Control from your phone

LiftMaster and Raynor smart openers use myQ. You can open, close and monitor the door from anywhere.

Safety features

Every opener we install has safety sensors that stop and reverse the door if something is in its path.

Commercial door operators

We install LiftMaster light-duty, medium-duty and industrial-duty operators for commercial doors. We help you match the operator to the door, including Raynor high-speed doors and high-performance doors.

We keep common operators in stock for fast replacement, and our technicians set them up for smooth, reliable operation.

Opener installation questions

Which opener is right for my garage?

It depends on the weight of your door, the space above it and how quiet you want it to be. A belt drive is quiet. A chain drive is strong and lower in cost. A wall-mount opener frees the ceiling. We help you choose.

Should I replace my opener when I get a new door?

Not always. If your opener works well and has safety sensors, you can keep it. If it is old, loud or too small for a heavier new door, it is usually best to replace it at the same time.

Which brands do you install?

We install LiftMaster and Raynor openers. Both offer belt drive, chain drive and wall-mount models with myQ smartphone control.

Do you give free quotes?

Yes. Quotes for new residential and commercial openers are free. You get the price in writing.
